Google Workspace & Microsoft 365 priced the same. Standard monthly: $3.90/mb (10) → $3.00/mb (100); ~15% cheaper annually ($3.25 → $2.50). Pre-warmed mailboxes (monthly only): $8/mb → $6/mb at volume.
Our take on Zapmail
Zapmail's pitch is speed and simplicity: connect a domain and it provisions real Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 mailboxes with DNS configured automatically, usually within five to ten minutes. In our checks the entry rate works out to about $3.50 per mailbox month-to-month, dropping toward $3.00 on higher tiers — competitive for managed GWS/M365 rather than raw SMTP, and it's one of the few automated provisioners offering EU as well as US IPs.
The caveats are mostly about what isn't included. Despite prominent “pre-warmed” marketing, standard mailboxes are delivered fresh and need three to four weeks of warmup before real sending; pre-warmed inboxes are a separate, higher-priced product. API access is restricted to the $299/month Pro plan, and there's no automated burn detection or inbox replacement if a mailbox's reputation tanks. Budget for the year-two renewal too — Google and Microsoft seat costs push the effective rate up materially after the first 12 months, which is disclosed in the help center rather than on the pricing page.
